Progress Video - The Headless Horseman

As I did with my piece The Egg Thief a while back, I've made a progress video of my World of Warcraft Card Game illustration of The Headless Horseman

Incidently, if you'd like to pick this up as a bunch of card sleeves, that's what was their intended use.
Let me know if you like these videos and I might be able to make more.  The way I work has the happy byproduct of producing a chronology in the layers, so it's not impossible to recreate the steps I took to make them.

  2. Appreciate seeing the process, I think you might want to consider down resing the individual images next time however. If by chance you are doing requests, your most recently released painting has me very interested and I would love to see a process of it.

  5. Vimeo would be a good place to host this.. if you didn't want your bandwidth destroyed. It accommodates different aspect ratios http://vimeo.com/39803955

  8. I definitely like these videos! It is a very good overview of your method. I suggest you to create an MP4 out of a MOV file if you want to save the video on your server (I use to do it with large MOV files to save some space on my hard disk, I did it with your video too and now it has almost the same quality but it is less then 4MB). The other option as Joshua James said above is Vimeo or Youtube. Anyway, if you need the MP4, I can send it to you. Thanks for the post!!

  9. One other suggestion for format is simply a gif, I know your fellow Blizzard artist Mr-Jack tends to upload his process on his Deviantart with gifs.

Regardless of how you choose to share them, these kind of process videos are great they really give some insight into how you tend to work.

  10. I don't think a video was the right format for this tutorial. Ridiculous to keep up with. very cool though!
